Stephanie Langford, Crematorium Manager at Pure Cremation, has been awarded the distinguished Eickhoff Medal by the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM) in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the bereavement services sector.

The prestigious award, named after ICCM President George Eickhoff, celebrates outstanding dedication, service, and innovation within cemetery and crematorium management. Recipients of this award are those who have gone above and beyond to enhance the standards and practices within the industry, with Stephanie completing all 7 modules in the ICCM diploma in under 2 years, achieving a distinction in each module and receiving the diploma with honours.

Speaking about the award, Stephanie said, “I was honoured to be able to receive the Eickhoff medal for outstanding achievement. Having completed the diploma, this is information that I can now share with my colleagues at Pure Cremation, so that we can all continue to grow and learn together as the industry develops.” Her dedication to continuous learning and development exemplifies a core value of Pure Cremation: fostering a culture of sharing knowledge and expertise to better serve families during their times of need.

Stephanie’s achievement is not just a personal triumph but a milestone for Pure Cremation, marking the first time a member of our staff has received the Eickhoff Medal, highlighting our commitment to meaningful, personalised cremation services. By investing in the professional development of our staff, we aim to lead the way in delivering compassionate, high-quality care in the bereavement services sector.
